Well, the 2008 US election campaigns so far has been nothing sort of fun and games and as usual the game of bashes. Yes, it is the nature of politics for candidates to bash each other, no wonder its called “dirty.” However, the underlying problem seems to be understated, mostly by the Republicans. Before I even start sharing my views and opinion I would like to clear any claims that might strike that I am a democrat. No, I am not a democrat. I am just a simple guy who wants to live and fulfill simple dreams. I just want to live in a country that can make and keep simple promises and with everything that is being said from the Republicans it just doesn’t seem like I will be able to get if they win this election. Ohhhhhh, they win and its gonna hurt, big time not just me but the entire nation.

The other day as I watching the “Maverick” John McCain’s speech I was amazed. Although most people thought that the speech was great and covered everything, I personally think there was nothing that he promised that sounded like it would help us in anyways. Do I love my conuntry, yes I do but I love myself and my kids as well. I am sorry to say this but my family comes before my nation, atleast to me. McCain’s speech seemed more like an answer to Democrats rather than their strategy. Well, we all know there is no new strategy its just the same old strategy that will be carried under a different person. The fact that McCain voted 90% on all Bush’s decision proves this fact. He is nothing but George Bush in a 72 year old body with a different face.

The concern that we have currently in our nation isn’t about which party should break the monotony of having all men in the Whitehouse. It isn’t about being a party who made a woman Vice President and definitely isn’t about who brought the hot 40 plus year old lady into white house. It is about us, me and every middle class American that lives in this country. I don’t care who leads the country as long as it is led by good men and women who do what they promise. And looking at McCain’s shady smiles and shivering 72 year old body I doubt that is going to happen with Republicans. Would I think differently of Republicans if it was someone else other than McCain, probably. I am not against the party I am against the views and ideas they have put forward.

Sarah Palin. On what grounds is she a good candidate for Vice President? Ohh yeah it might help strengthen foreign relations since she is “hot.” Tell you the truth, this campaign is turning into a joke and the sad thing is its not funny a bit. It has become a hoard to win pat on the back for bringing a different sex into this game and what not. Just a freaking joke. McCain is a joke and Palin is even worse. The only thing I like about her at this point is I don’t mind watching her on TV cause I agree that she is beautiful, especially for her age. I am not sure why people are talking about Obama’s lack of experience when Sarah Palin is nothing close to Obama or Biden for that. I just can’t wait to see the presidential and vice presidential debate and see the Republicans being eaten alive.

John Mccain, you are a true hero. You have served the country, you have taken the bruises for us. You have fought for us and you might have been called a “Maverick.” But at this moment, thats all you are fit to be, a “hero” not a President. I remember you stepping off in 2000, would it be possible to make that wise decision again this year?

I bet not. They say as you grow older the decision making part of your brain gets kind of rotted. That is a clear sign that if Republicans win this election, we are all doomed. DOOMED!

In any given day when I have to choose between my family and my blog obviously I would choose my family. I have been enjoying a lot of time with my kids and my wife as it is summer. It’s a conversation that most husbands and wives get into, time after time. Although I would like to think I am way different from a typical male since I have no macho attitude, the statement above applies to me as well. So yes, I myself despise my mother in law. Before I go any further into this post, I would just like to remind my female readers that this might not be true about your mother. This is my mother in law I am talking about in this post which mostly is true for most men when it comes to the reason why they despise their mother in law .

Here are 5 reasons why I despise my mother in law which I am sure is true for most men,

They Are My Kids, Not Yours

Sound Familiar? Yup, that’s the mother in law right there. When you do something it automatically becomes wrong just cause you are her son in law. But the same thing when done by your kids ( her grand kids ) it becomes right, just cause they are her grand kids. How about the fact she tries to teach you how to raise your own kids? Don’t we men just hate that? As a dad we have our own little ways to try to shape our kids’ future and such, but the grandma has to step in and tell you what to do and what not to. And what makes it worse is the fact she does it right infront of the grandkids. This obviously makes you mad since she is sending a message to the kids indirectly which says, ” What your dad is doing isn’t right. This is what you should do.” I just hate that. Don’t teach me how to raise my kids. Ohh how I hate my mother in law!! Strong word but it’s a fact.

Why The Hell is It Wrong When I do It?

The other thing that I hate, just hate about my mother in law is the differentiation she does between her son and me. Ohhhh no….. I don’t want to be her son…..no way … just the fact that when her son does something with his wife it’s ok, cause he is her son. But if I do the same thing it’s not ok cause I am her son in law. It seems like mother in laws tend to make our lives hard and they don’t even have to try it, it just comes to them naturally.

How come it’s ok for her son to take his wife out to movies while a babysitter watches their children. And when I do the same thing she says , “Ummmm….Ron, don’t you think you should stay home with the kids so she can have some time alone?” WTF? I give her time alone but I do want to spend some time with her as well. Why is her son a great husband when he takes his wife out to dinner and when I plan on doing the same thing I am an ass? That makes sense…NOT!

Can We Go Easy on The Avon Perfumes

I think this is true for most mother in laws. Avon is what they grew up with. If your mother in law is fairly young, this might not be the case. But most older MIL’s ( Mother In Law ) are just stuck with AVON. My mother in law literally uses 5 different perfumes at the same time. Of course, I save money on air freshner but the smell that lingers from her isn’t pleasant. Think about it…five different perfumes, it’s just not pleasant.

By the way, she is also an AVON representative and hosts regular AVON parties at MY HOUSE. It’s bad enough that I come home and she is there, imagine my frustration when I see 10 more woman just like her..not fun!

It’s My House, My TV and My Remote!

I have said it time after time, I am not a typical male that likes to sit on the couch with feet up on the table watching TV all day. On a typical day I probably watch TV not for more than 2 hours. Usually at night, once the kids go to bed I like to watch a little TV with my wife and then catch some news to keep myself updated on what’s going on around the world.

My mother in law on the other hand likes to watch Infomercials. When she is around, she literally will take charge over my remote and TV and not to mention my house. As somebody older than me I show respect to her and let her do what she wants to, but after a while it starts to get a little annoying. Why the hell can’t I watch what I want to watch when I want to watch in MY HOUSE? Beats me.

I wouldn’t Have done that, but that’s ok

Hey guys, does that sound familiar? I bet it does. It’s a very common statment made my most mother in laws. You do something and although it can’t be done any better, she will say it “I wouldn’t have done that, but that’s ok.” The other day I built my children a tire swing and it was as sturdy as it could be. I was happy and quite proud of myself. My mother in law walks out on the deck and says “I wouldn’t have done that. I would rather buy them a swing set…but that’s ok.” I didn’t say anything to her but my thoughts sure did, “How about you help me out with expenses a little and stop spoiling my kids? How about you give me my wife back who you have made to think I am the worst man on earth? How about when I do things just like your son does you say something nice? How about you treat me like your son? How about you see what I have given to your daughter and grandkids? How about you just treat me as a human….how about that, you old B****?”

Yes, those are some harsh words but if you think I am an ass for writing this and expressing my feelings, you are more than welcome to come take her for couple weeks. I am sure you will have her back within a day or so… but even one day without her would be heaven for me.

I apologize, if my words were harsh and disrespectful. This is the best way to let my feelings out and I couldn’t do anything but to share it with you guys, since we talk and share things with each other. Can’t really talk to my mother in law and she has started turning my wife against me but hey that’s what mother in laws do.

There she is, I can hear her talking to my wife “What the hell does he do on the computer for hours? You sure he is not into Porn?” Goddddddddd I hate that woman

I don’t find anything wrong with that as long as it doesn’t become an addiction and doesn’t create a barrier between relations. However, anything in excess becomes an addiction and addiction leads to nothing but disaster. It’s like eating sugar, it tastes sweet at first but after a while it turns sour. Same thing with any kind of addiction and I have seen porn addiction take men down the drain, including my own cousin.

This article will point out 3 things that I find makes men more susceptible to porn addiction. Let’s analyze,

The Imaginative Pleasure

This is one of the main reason men tend to watch porns because they are visual animals. They like what they see. Whatever tickles their fancy sexually, arouses them the most. For example , any men would like to see their partner in some sensual clothing simply because they are turned on by what they see. One of main culprit for porn addiction is a man’s desire to use those imaginative sense. They like to think outside the box and ponder and play with in their head what might be inside. Their is an organ in each man’s brain which is yet to be scientifically proven. I like to call it the “Sex O’ Load” just because that part of the brain is loaded with sexual thoughts.

A man can look at a woman, undress her and start having sex within 5 minutes with her all in his brains. Sexual imagination in a man is one of the reason why men tend to be more into porn than woman.

The “You Want Me Factor” Comes In Play

Another crucial aspect that plays a significant role is the “you want me factor.” Men like to be bosses and they want to know and hear that they are wanted. One of the reasons I think men want this is because they want to be seen as somebody who is in demand and as they say - somebody whose shit don’t stink. While watching porn a man feels in control. It’s his time, his way of exercising his brains where most of the times “getting laid” thoughts rein.

Watching porn may be a way for men to relief stress as it allows them to be in control and take care of the situation which usually is through simulating the sexual nerves in the brains.

Can’t Touch But Can Definitely See

Another thing that I hear day after day is this statement from men who are married or are in a relationship - I can’t touch but I can see. This attitude I think takes the sex addiction game to the next level. Being in a relationship a man realizes what his grounds and boundaries are but the fact that he can still have sex ( in their minds since they have such high imaginative skills ) mentally allows him to have sex with any person at any given time anywhere. And what better way to exercise this theory than to watch porn.

Men have a tendency to fight something right with the wrong itself. The porn addiction stems out from this kind of attitude. A small fire can escalate into a wildfire and the same goes true with men’s thought process when it comes to sex.

Men like visual attraction. Whatever catches their attention rules their world. Share your thoughts! Once again nothing wrong with watching porn unless it becomes an addiction. Think men, think before it becomes a routine. Make it a once in a while pleasure not a daily chore!

Well the stats part is over. I would just like to quick remind you guys that this blog is not a sexist blog. it’s about my feelings towards certain things as a man. My views and thoughts are quite different from a typical man which puts me into a lot of uncomfortable situations. This blog is my way of letting my thoughts run wild and sharing with you, the wonderful readers, my opinion and hearing yours in return !

Nothing long and boring, just a quick short incident that I came across while walking in the mall with my wife. Me and my wife had a long day yesterday ( nothing unusual ) and to relax ourselves we thought we would go for a nice little drive and then hit the mall for quick window shopping ( we both enjoy it ). We had a good old time just hanging out and walking through the mall and checking stuff out. While we were at the mall we went to a store that sells swimming gear as we are both planning on taking kids to a water resort.

While we were checking out some swimming shorts, tubes and what not I over heard a conversation. There were two guys and a little girl ( one of the guys’ daughter who was probably 10-12 years old ). The two guys were laughing, talking and as they say “checking out” the store manager. Then the guy who I assume is the little girl’s dad made a comment to his friend which went something like this : “Check this bikini out man! I bet that chick would look hot with this on. If she can make me feel this way with those jeans, I would freaking jump at her if she had these bikinis on.” Please note that the little girl was right by their side. Right after the guy was done saying this, the little girl said,

Hey Dad, Let’s not forget I am your daughter and someday I will be a woman. Would you want guys to talk about me like that?

The guy was shocked! He probably didn’t expect his little girl to get back on his statement but for me and my wife it was a delight. It was nice to see a little girl stand up for herself and every other woman out there. I just wanted to share this as it is something that we see quite often. Some dad’s make comments and rude gestures that show little girls that that’s the only way to get attention, cheap attention for that matter. I am glad I had a chance to see and know at least that one little girl won’t turn out that way.

So next time you are with your daughter watch what you say. You don’t want to be the one to hear that statement coming from your daughter, do you?.Think men, think before you look at another woman as a piece of meat. She can’t be just that can she? And why make your daughter think that’s how men should look at her when she grows up…..

I am not much into politics so when these conversations heat up I lean more towards the battle of sexes rather than political bullshit. Politics, as we all know is a dirty game and forever will be. Whether it is played by a man or a woman, it’s hard to clear a swamp when filth is dropped from every direction and the same goes true for politics.

So let’s not argue about who is going to win the upper hand in politics, whether its Hillary or anyone else, I don’t really care because its not going to change much. The only way this election might change people’s perspective and views is if Hillary wins. Why so? Simple. She is a woman and I am ready for a woman to take charge, are you?

Let’s see why I am all for it. And this isn’t just about Hillary Clinton being a president, this is about woman being in power and why I do not have problem with it. Let’s begin the controversy which I assume will begin from this post:

Tear Down The Sexist Wall

Although we talk about equal rights and all other things that sound good in paper and words, we hardly believe it. I can take the heat coming from you men on why I might be wrong since I know most of you don’t agree with the fact that woman can utilize authority, possibly better than men. A woman in authority challenges a man’s ego which helps him realize the truth. It is a mirror that allows everyone to see that things are equal and not one higher than the other. Men have taken authority since the beginning of earth and woman have stepped forward now. But still sexism exists, and it exists in your neighborhood, on your street, and most of us we practice it in our lives and homes. Sad but true!

Responsibility - It’s Natural For a Woman

Before I say anything further I would like to remind you that I am not talking about individuals here. Some men are responsible and some are not and the same goes true with woman. However, in general woman are more responsible than men. Countless studies and research have proved that woman are more responsible than men simply because of the mother instinct they are born with. A woman has a natural instinct to be caring, loving and bear more responsible. And this alone might be a huge huge change if we ever have a woman president…. I am ready for a change. Once again I am not into politics but the fact that having a woman president might allow things to fall in place due to the sense of responsibility is surely tempting.

Negotiations With Emotions

You know I think about this one all the time. For example: how many times you give in to your wife or girlfriend just cause they know how to make you feel bad with emotions? Not ever right? Well, that’s a lie. There are times when every woman can make somebody negotiate in their favor simply due to the skills they have naturally earned as a woman. The same can be applied in politics as well. Yup, sounds a little different but it can and will work. I can bet that if we had a female president the war in Iraq would have never been carried out and if it did it would be over by now. I guess we will never know until we give woman a chance. It’s about time and to be honest it’s over due.

They Didn’t Have a Problem in The 1800’s, And We do in 2008 ?

Please click here and take a look. Woman in authority isn’t anything new, it’s just that we tend to ignore it and think it never happened and shouldn’t happen. Wrong thinking!

There are CEO’s that have successfully ran companies who are mothers who run their families as well. There is nothing wrong with woman being in charge. If there is a drawback from political standpoint of view then yes, whether it’s a woman or a man, they do not have the right to bear the authoritative position. However, just the though that most men entertain that a woman shouldn’t be a president just because they are woman is simply and wrong and very primitive!

What’s your call? I know you have something to say. Go ahead and express your views. Do not target me personally, I shared my views and you can do the same. The purpose of this blog it to educate while being educated by others. It’s a community to learn and to teach and share each others values and emotions and make ourselves better. It’s a hammer to break down the sexist wall from a man who believes in woman right and that equality is due!
